Will it fit? Look beyond the size label.
A familiar size letter is a starting point. Garment measurements and photos of your own order help you make a more specific choice.
Compare like with like
Enter the same measurement from a garment that fits you and the listing you are considering. Both values must use the same method: flat width with flat width, or circumference with circumference.
The measurement method matters
| Garment detail | How to compare it | Easy mistake to avoid |
|---|---|---|
| Chest width | Lay a familiar top flat and measure between the underarms. | Comparing a flat width with a full body circumference. |
| Top length | Use the same shoulder or neckline starting point as the seller’s diagram. | Including a hood or collar in only one measurement. |
| Waist | Note whether an elastic waistband is relaxed or stretched. | Treating a stretched measurement as the everyday fit. |
| Trouser length | Separate inseam, outseam and rise; they answer different fit questions. | Comparing an inside-leg measurement with full trouser length. |
For shoes, the seller’s size chart and the measurement method used there matter more than a universal conversion table. Ask whether a length refers to the foot, insole or outsole before treating it as a fit measurement.
Use warehouse photos for your own order
Kakobuy inspects arrivals and makes item photos available through the order and warehouse process. Compare the photos with the colour, size and version you selected. The first questions are whether the item, quantity and visible details match the purchase you made.
Shared QC photos can illustrate a style, but may show a different size, colour or earlier order. Your own photos are the relevant set for an item waiting to ship. Lighting can alter colour appearance; a closer view of a tag, seam or label can be more useful than another wide shot.
When is an extra photo useful?
When one specific visible detail would change your decision: a ruler across the chest, the size label, a fastener, or a close-up of an apparent mark. Describe the exact angle or measurement. If the existing photos already answer that question, another general photo adds little. Available services and charges should be reviewed in your Kakobuy order.
What remains uncertain after photos?
Stretch, long-term wear, scent and specialist electrical performance are not settled by appearance. Kakobuy’s inspection scope focuses on visible item information and excludes specialist functionality testing. Keep expectations tied to what the photos actually show.
